The Arc Light was an early light source used to replace the older gas lamps used in public and industrial spaces. The design inspiration for this fixture comes from the era of the late 19th to early 20th century when this style was commonly used and now adapted to a contemporary but still classic feel.
Our Murphy shade is made in the original mold created by a bygone Philadelphia glass maker that started in 1861. This mold dates back to the early 1900's and the classic look of the Murphy shade easily transcends many styles.
